Note: Your Mac will auto-populate the user name field with your computer's user name. In most cases, you can simply buy a replacement Mac, connect the drive, and restore al the files you like, or the complete system from a Time Machine backup. If prompted, enter the name and password that correspond to the user’s account on the Seagate Central. Once the drive is selected, click on Use Disk. (Optional: You may check the Encrypt Backups box.) Select your Seagate Central, which will be TM BACKUP from the list of backup options.
